| I saw it. Highlights for me were (in no order): I’d Do Anything (very funny/creative take), Paulo Szot (that voice), Len Cariou (because he’s Len Cariou and can still sing with so much power even with limited range and not always on tune), Bonnie Mulligan’s Maria (unexpected - I only know her from Kimberly Akimbo), Robbie Fairchild and company in My Heart Belongs to Daddy and Jen Collela returned as host and was as usual great. There was some overmiking and the orchestra and singers seemed to be off a few times but that is to be expected given the limited rehearsing. |
