| There are two rational ways to understand "enjoy." One is what I said in my post below, that I gain joy from seeing a good play well-acted. That's why I go to the theatre, and that is the case irrespective of whether the play is a comedy or tragedy, etc. The other way is to look at the origin of the word, which traces back to the Latin, and to the bible. "Rejoice in the Lord always." (Philippians 4:4) That does not mean that one should think of Jesus as a comedian. |
