The definition of "show" in this context is:
"a theater performance or a television or radio program that is entertaining rather than serious"
And that is exactly how I hear it and interpret it as an audience member rather than from slang used by industry insiders.
Combine "enjoy" with "show" and it conjures up tap dancers and not Vanessa Redgrave trembling from drug addiction in Long Day's Journey . . . |
