I loved it and I agree with the review that it was like the best of the great golden days of Encores. I think they could get someone else to write the liner notes--the article in the Times, linked here, is all the liner note I needed though. And I loathed the mime. I just can't stand them and he was particularly egregious. But since he was part of the show, c'est la vie! Ann Harada's dog stole it for me.
