"Enjoy the show" is just good old-fashioned customer service.
Would you prefer "Thank you for your patronage"? "Enjoy the experience?" or just "Enjoy the performance?"
Ask the actors in a serious piece of theater whether they say "good show" I bet they still do.
The word "show" does not diminish the seriousness of a work of theater.
