| Good to know about Alexander Cohen as opposed to David Merrick. Thanks. So if Joe Layton took over the direction, then there was an original director. And if most of the more wistful French songs stayed in, then there were others that were replaced. And there were revisions to Lawrence and Lee's book. All interesting things to research, now that I know the material is available. I only know the original cast album and my friend's story about his small, lost investment. |
