for doing what you set out to do: giving an outlet for presenting lesser known musicals.
This was thrilling for me as I've never seen DEAR WORLD. It's an odd plot (based on an odder play), with, IMHO, less than successful casting, (and that resolve to the conflict!!!) but everyone gave their very best and it was a gift to have such a strong representation of the piece. Apart from everything...those SONGS!!! Herman sure knew how to write a melodic, beautiful, memorable showtune! |
