There must be a way to recreate the acoustics at Epidauros’s outdoor amphitheatre. The Colorado Shakespeare Festival outdoor theatre works pretty well.
I don’t know about the Delacorte but it seems impossible for it to be played without mikes. Is it a matter of that the seats must all be made of stone, not plastic?
And..for the indoor theatres…it may be that designing theatres for no mikes is a lost art. |
