| The only way of reading the original post is that the takeaway is that if theaters are only casting white people in the lead roles, they have failed to live up to their commitment to diversity, with the only solution being casting people of color in lead parts. I don't think this statement is quite as controversial as others, nor do I entirely agree with it, but it's silly to pretend that this isn't what the OP wrote. |
