Vinyl caters to audiophiles. A CD is just a form of data storage that has been supplanted by streaming and downloads, which increasingly offer more sophisticated audio profiles than CDs.
As for YouTube, there is a revenue stream created from those plays, the same as on streaming services. It’s not a lot, but it’s not free, either. |
