Nice article, although of course that is not Alfred Drake in the color Oklahoma! photo. I tried without success to post a comment on that. Sent an email instead but I don't know if a correction will get made.

I also don't think it's Marc Platt, the original Curly in the ballet, but I could be wrong, but it's so clearly not Alfred Drake. Still, a nice article.

We have not received the print addition yet which I imagine will include the mistake. Would be great if the digital edition is corrected since it will likely be the one that has the longest shelf-life. (oh, btw, my wife agrees it actually is Marc. She is rather adamant though I am not sure why and I am not in about to argue the point :).

Well, a good friend thinks it is Marc Platt, and it certainly would make sense that it is Marc Platt.

Isn't that Lee Dixon, the original Will Parker?

I think not just because I think the photo is of the ballet, and I don't think Dixon was in the ballet. But I could be wrong.

I didn't think it particularly looked like him, but I'm not the best judge. It certainly would make sense for it to be Marc Platt.
