I saw strange loop twice on broadway as an out of Towner using slots. White girl was a waste of a slot this round.
Leopalstadt will probably win best play. But it will probably be done regionally if you can wait.
Pi is the puppetry and staging. I normally sit close but I bought rear orch and glad I did. The stage is high and the water patterns on the floor are very important effects that would be lost. I just find the final ending absurd as to which story is true—really? But I had the same issue with the movie. It is nicely staged and engaging.
The early reports regarding thanksgiving play seems s must skip.
I can’t comment on the rest of the plays. But I will say Sweeney is superb. I’m not Josh G fan and he does a good job but annaleigh ashford is phenomenal as lovitt. And the staging is top notch. But sit a few rows back since the stage is high for this show also. Row b aisle, I could only see their heads in the final scene and row a saw nothing. |
