| Wayman, thanks for posting this! It was a lot of fun! I was struck by how little Tituss Burgess goes to the theater. I have noticed that there is a group of musical theater actors who eat it all up: they go to all the shows, they know all the songs. And there's another group who seems to never go unless they are in a show themselves. And some of them don't even seem to know the parts of their own shows that they're not in. Aaron Tveit seems to be in the first group and Burgess in the second. |

| I've had the same experience! I would constantly bring up moments from shows or cast recordings with one of my best friends who I studied theatre with. I was always surprised that most of the time he didn't know what I was talking about. He told me he only listens to or pays attention to the songs or parts that he could play. Whereas I was always having this full experience of every aspect of this show. | |

| Early in the movie after she starts a fight with a drunken patron and hurts her hand, they go to supermarket and get some frozen peas to put on her hand. That is the first time she sings SHALLOW to him. | |
