I find the Pulitzer and a widely reviewed New York City production disqualifying. But:
Disgraced was produced twice in the US in 2012, at the American Theatre Company (Chicago), and then Lincoln Center. It won the Pulitzer. it came to Broadway in 2014 and was nominated for Best Play.
So it's a case by case basis. Perhaps 9 years vs. 2 is determinative. |
