| Still time to put it back in the show and start fixing all these mistakes made. Why change something that was just fine to many of us. I know a few people who saw Camelot and told me don't bother. I like the show and saw it over the years whenever it was playing and I was in the area. I've been told this production won't be around long, well maybe all the naysayers should be listened to. | |

| I sat there last night furious at the changes which turned a beautiful musical into experimental theatre. Sorkin’s changes in the story strip the piece of whatever power it once had. | |

| I saw a college production ,U of Mich '74-75, and during the Overture they Had Merlin direct the characters, a la ALMN, pairing and then repairing. The young cast was fine and\ I remember how the Jokes in "C'est Moi" really 'Landed'. | |

| It's the most beautiful song in the show and possibly the most beautiful tune Loewe ever wrote. In the original, and normally, it comes in and out between Merlin's farewell monologue. The song mellifluously captures the enchantress' spell over Merlin, and then ends powerfully the entire opening sequence and perfectly punctuates the role of Merlin in the piece. In short it is superb musical dramaturgy. No wonder they cut it. |
