Great post matinee discussion with three actors about every aspect of the play. Marcel Spears was especially eloquent, in effect serving as the absent playwright’s proxy.
I had orchestra row A house right seats (TDF, again my good luck) which might be close for some but made the 4th wall breaking intimacy of the production electrifying. A withering glance from the wonderful Nikki Crawford was an unexpected highlight for me. |
