Supposedly Brando couldn't sing "My Time of Day" and "I've Never Been in Love Before" so Loesser came up with "A Woman in Love", which he was able to handle.

Ideally Sinatra should have been cast as Sky and someone like Phil Silvers should have played Nathan in the film.
