Thanks for the information regarding the feud. I googled it and was able to find a detailed story about it. Very interesting. I remember reading a bit about Georgia Brown having a sort of fiery temperament back in 1963 when Oliver! opened on Broadway, but that was about all I knew about her.

I love her performances on the Oliver! and Carmelina cast recordings. I've also enjoyed her various appearances in films like A Study in Terror, The Fixer, and The Seven-Per-Cent Solution.
