Hah, you sound like my friends who were brought up in the UK who are even more vehement in their hatred of the royals.
I do understand the longing for decorum and protocol in the era of the Trump Great-Unleashing where people seem to revel in their boorishness and airing of murderous hatreds.
"Manners from Heaven" is what guerilla-etiquette practitioner Quentin Crisp thought the antidote was... a method of survival through good manners and by consequence a strategy for not killing each other in social spaces. "The lie is the basic building block of good manners." |
