| I had never heard of this show (this is a posthumous debut for Swados), and I was blown away. It's brilliantly staged by Anne Bogart, with a strong cast. Set in a bawdy basement artists’ café during the Russian Revolution, the characters are influential poets from the period. It's a glorious score, beautifully sung. Highly recommended. |
