And it likely reflects the fact that they, like many theaters, are really struggling financially. The fact that the three solo shows are playing in rep makes me think they’re hoping to use their venues for rentals as much at possible.
The solo shows also seem to be continuing Adam’s bent for making Playwrights an uptown Clubbed Thumb. It’s exciting to see Morgan Green directing two shows.
