| The cast was game. The kids, especially. Wildly overstuffed with very few actual moments of horror - jumpscares etc. with lights and sound bumps. Laurie's great, but you've seen it all before from her (if you watch the current Jackie on The Connors). The play on paper is awful - almost amateurish. Aiming for every current horror trope: Midsommar, The Shining, etc. At 1 3/4 hour with no break, it felt like 3 hours. |
