Also interesting re the aftermath film career of Hugh Jackman.
XMen producer LSDonner had an assistant producer who met Hugh at the airport & steered him around ( including the design of the infamous Wolverine hairstyle).
His name : Kevin Feige
Feige would eventually move to another studio - Marvel Studio - which he built and heads now ... and it is considered the studio with the biggest box office hits ( including a few billion-dollar movie hits). Over the summer, Jackman will be filming a movie which will see him return to the Wolverine role ( in a movie with another famous character, Deadpool) and Feige has said how excited he is to see this come to a full circle for him...starting with the very first XMen movie.
And, in a remote way, it all started with a revival of Oklahoma! |
