| While I loved loved loved "Cross That Bridge" and liked "With All Of Your Heart" in season 1, I don't quite get a lot of these songs in season 2. They're basically slightly changing the tunes and then changing the lyrics to be slightly less fun than the originals. They sound more like copy cat than parody. They're there for theater fans to cry out proudly "I know what song they're making fun of!" IMHO. What was great about "Cross That Bridge" is that it was a completely original song that paid homage to say "Brotherhood of Man" without directly copying it. As I said, IMHO. |
