| In this new season, 7 shows are opening before Labor Day, which is a high number. Not counting weeklong runs of concerts and such, the last 3 pre-pandemic summers had 4, 5, and 3 shows open before Labor Day. So there may be some movement away from Tony Award reliance already. |
