I was also in Row G last night and had the same sound issues as you. Act 2 was noticeably better. I imagine Jason Danieley told the sold crew about act 1.
I agree with all you said. I loved almost all of act 2 because I could hear what they were singing. Back to Before and Make Them Hear You were outstanding. Wheels of a Dream got lost in the sound mess.
I could have easily attended today if I had known sound was going to be a problem. I felt bad for my two friends who came with me because they had never heard the score before.
I thought it might have been my seat but someone I knew in row M also had trouble heating the lyrics in act one.
I did think all the casting worked well and this group would be fine in a new revival whenever it is done. |
