And Gavin Lee was comical, sweet and not slimy (Lee as Bert as Fagin). His "Situation" in particular was funny but superficial.
I was not disappointed in the production, though. I thought Lilli Cooper was terrific. And, of course, Benjamin Pajak, what a pro. Mary Testa and Brad Oscar were fun and funny. I didn't care for Julian Lerner so much, but the boys overall were great.
I agree with others about the odd, swift, and incomplete-seeming ending. |
