A huge welcome surprise for me was the (off center?) production of Al Carmine’s Promenade. I had never been able to make it through the record so imagine my delight when I found the material a delirious imaginative treat. And the talent they assemble was staggering. The thrilling voices. Working on very difficult material. One of my top Encores experiences.
