| Actually, not the same but it would be a terrible idea that would derogate the award and render it in the nature of the people's choice awards. Worth aka value is a function of supply and demand so instead of being a qualitative assessment to choose the "best," we would be giving an award for what people are willing to pay. Although Dramedy's metric (grosses) doesn't get it quite right, his example of a "winner" (MJ) is right on the money, no pun intended. |
