I think this actually highlights a huge problem for Broadway that the strike and its anxiety has again brought to the service. First, because Broadway is still largely run by the same people and organizations that were running it in the last century, attention to impactful social media is more of a token than anything one would find in more vibrant industries. And second, as we started discussing around the time of Ain't No Mo,' that same promotion and marketing apparatus is doing close to nothing to seriously attempt to capture younger and minority audiences. So to try to assess defects in a result without first assessing and correcting defects in the execution is a meaningless chicken and egg fallacy.
