My favorite parody from Season 2 of ''Schmigadoon!'' has got to be Cinco Paul's ''Good Enough to Eat'' from Episode 4.
It's his delightfully demented mashup of ''A Little Priest'' (from ''Sweeney Todd'') and ''You're Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile'' (from ''Annie'').
Broadway by Ghostlight's Marc Bonanni chats with ''Schmigadoon!'' choreographer Chris Gattelli about the secrets of staging that showstopper. Gattelli dishes about working with the kids and Kristin Chenoweth and slipping in Easter eggs from ''Chicago,'' ''Oliver!'' and ''Promises, Promises.''
His dedication and attention to detail, as well as everyone from the performers to the prop masters, is just astounding. Bravo! |
