If I am correct that Disney never owned Howard, then the original licenses under which the producer of the film used the clips would be intact. If they did own it, and decided to sell it, the same would be true.
I am not going to opine on copyright questions, but I would note that the clips from the Disney projects would be something that Disney would actually WANT to make available. It's great advertising and I am sure some people were prompted to watch one or more of the Disney movies after the documentary. |
