"As for the final moments," I also read spoilers and picked my seat accordingly (6th row center Orch). The ending was remarkable even though I knew what to expect. I was at a Wednesday matinee and after the whole play which was spartan as well as black and white, when the door opened the theater was flooded with sun light and color. Nora walked through the door, looked up, left and right then exited into her brave new world. Chills! It’s unfortunate it couldn’t be experienced by the whole audience.

I was seated Left Balcony A1. I could partially see the door open but once Nora reached the door I could not see her any further. There were many seats further to my left. Agreed . . . what a poorly staged finale because I still felt it palpable but would have liked to have been able to actually see it.

jjbkvm, it sounds like that contrast between the sunny, colorful outdoors and the world of the play is what they were looking for, although if it's nighttime and rainy, maybe Nora would just rather stay inside! Almost as soon as the door opened, someone was honking at my performance. KCforBway, according to the seating charts, the left sections probably start at similar places in the orchestra, mezzanine, and balcony (although the front half of the orchestra doesn't have side seating). If you couldn't see the action in A1, then basically everyone in the left seats can't see it. That's pretty bad. It doesn't look like there's any price difference between right and left side seating.
