| They did a similar thing in London (where the entire run was sold out long before it opened) giving it lots of publicity including proper production photographs and billing it as a special matinee performance starring Dani Arlington as Tess - rather than an understudy run. Dani has been with this production from the beginning and even though it's a one-woman show the producers and writer (and Jodie Comer) have been very clear that they view it as a team project. So it's no surprise that they've given Dani the opportunity to play the role again - this time on Broadway. |
