If I personally know someone who died, I will reach out to their family (I've had three this week, so I've been busy).
If it's a famous person I have admiration for, no matter how wonderful they were in their work, I've gotten so that I don't always feel the need to post a message on a message board to say that it's tragic. But it is, and I feel it - and I have felt Tina Turner's passing well. I just didn't feel there was any reason to tell everyone. |
