I posted below that I loved it but, I agree, been thinking about it a lot.

Thinking in particular about his refrain "I'm not all that religious, I don't believe in heaven or hell, but I do believe in friends." At the moment, I feel like Bert is sort of like a God figure to him, something to talk to and help him cope, something painfully difficult to move on from. But I think the play and William Jackson Harper's performance allow for so many different interpretations. |
