| Back at the start of the pandemic on Seth Rudetsky's show she said she'd be playing the mother as soon as Broadway reopens and that the part of Fanny had been cast. Funny that was the last I heard of it. She's wanted to play that role for a long time. Tried to get Lady Gaga to do the show a number of years ago. |

| They announced that “Funny Girl” would arrive on Broadway with Idina Menzel, but that never came to fruition - I assumed Rosie was attached to that planned production that fell through. | |

| I've always assumed she jumped the gun on whatever might have been discussed. Maybe she assumed it was a done deal? I'd hate to think she was just running with a fantasy. | |
