I like Vanessa Williams very much, without a doubt.
But I'm sorry -- there's no way she has the vocal chops for this role (I'm not sure she did even in her best voice, but certainly not now), and I'm not sure she has the acting chops for it either.
She's a very talents and winning performer, but I don't think this kind of range and power has been one of her proven talents over the decades we've seen her. |
