| I saw the show for the second time (after having seen the Atlantic production), and I was surprised by how the score had grown on me from hearing it once to hearing it a second time. I find the songs fit the show perfectly, with all the nuances in the script. And I'm seeing parallels to Fun Home, which I hadn't noticed before. And all of the songs are impeccably performed, as you said. It really is quite an achievement. |
