Tyne Daly and Liev Schreiber are really talented actors, but Doubt, being a four person play with fairly straightforward technical needs, is done a lot regionally, and I don't see this as being a particularly revelatory or innovative production. I thought Roundabout might do English, since they co-produced it off-Broadway, but I guess not.
Also interesting that Roundabout is capping its Broadway season at 3 shows, all at the American Airlines Theater. I think they did four or five before the pandemic. I guess Studio 54 is being rented out. |
