She was a major character in "Beautiful: The Carole King Musical" - the show devoted much of its time to her story.
And of course it featured many of the classic songs she and Barry Mann wrote together - "On Broadway," "He's Sure the Boy I Love," "Walking in the Rain," "We Gotta Get Out of This Place," etc.
She's survived by Barry Mann, her husband of 62 years.
