| This year I've been re-visiting scores from the 50's and 60's; NEW GIRL IN TOWN- I liked the performers far more than the score; TOVARICH is next on the tunestack, but M&H is a joy, the score and the performance;;;;;;;; I was still in grammar school,in 61-62 and my mother would play the radio as she served break fast and sent us off to school. I remember "Shalom" and "Milk and Honey" got lots of airplay(This was the era when a Hit Show often had hits on the radio.) I would check cat albums out if the Library (and occasionally Purchase one) but M&H was one I missed. So it's an extra pleasure now. |
