| Rebecca Gilman's Swing State will make its New York debut at the Minetta Lane Theatre this fall. According to the Tribune, with the entire Goodman cast. Definitely one of the best plays I have seen this year in Chicago. |

| Thought that the Minetta Lane was owned by and used by Audible mostly for their "spoken word" productions. Will this be a full production? |

| The shows produced by Audible at the Minetta Lane are not "spoken word" productions. They are fully designed theatre pieces. Some are solo shows, and some of those have more modest designs (although it's always much more than a stool and a mic - and some have substantial design elements), but certainly the plays (pieces with multiple actors) I've seen there have been designed to the level of any other play you'd see anywhere else. Audible is producing the shows, and I believe an audio version ends up on their platform. But that doesn't mean they are "spoken word" productions. |

| I suggest you read the article in the Chicago Tribune. It states that the production will be a live run, and that Audible is venturing into live theater. | |

| This response baffles me. The press release for this came out days before you posted about this, as other posters have noted. And why do I need to read an article that you didn't even bother to link to learn what I already know? It's very nice that you liked the production in Chicago. But this is not Audible's first time "venturing into live theater." If you got that impression from the article in the Chicago Tribune, either you misinterpreted it, or the article is wrong. |

| Thanks. I read ATC every day, but somehow I missed the press release here dated 5/31. When I read Chris Jones' article in the Tribune, I thought it was a fresh announcement. |

| I only know what I read in Friday's Chicago Tribune. According to Chris Jones, Swing State will be produced by Audible Inc. with the Goodman cast. Performances begin on Sept. 8 -- it will be a limited engagement. The Goodman production did have a fairly elaborate set. |
