The shows produced by Audible at the Minetta Lane are not "spoken word" productions. They are fully designed theatre pieces. Some are solo shows, and some of those have more modest designs (although it's always much more than a stool and a mic - and some have substantial design elements), but certainly the plays (pieces with multiple actors) I've seen there have been designed to the level of any other play you'd see anywhere else.
Audible is producing the shows, and I believe an audio version ends up on their platform. But that doesn't mean they are "spoken word" productions.
