| You'll probably be disappointed to find out that this is not really a film of the Broadway show, but a Canadian-filmed re-invention of the show, with a whole lot of differences, lots of songs cut, etc. Not a very good film. | |

| But what fun to see the late, great Anita Morris who had been in the original OBC, as well as Henning...looking forward to seeing this version having loved seeing Henning in the original as a child! Thanks immensely for sharing this...:) | |

| We've talked before on this board about shows that are never going to be revived, but The Magic Show is the one that I've always thought is really, truly never going to be revived because the circumstances under which it would be revived seem so unlikely. But it's the 39th longest-running show on Broadway of all time, so I've been curious about it. This modified version is better than nothing. pecansforall, thank you for the link! | |
