| ...it read to me like they took an element from the Mendes staging, which had the Kat Kat performers warming-up onstage and occasionally chatting with audience members, and then brought it to the farthest extreme imaginable. The prologue is one of the only aspects of the production that I thought worked, but that didn't make it feel any less derivative. |
