She's fantastic. And honestly, I thought about putting her in the list but self-determined that she doesn't have the box office draw or the buzz-worthiness or the legend status to be an advantageous replacement for the producers. Not that I wouldn't love to see her do it, but I think for a show like this to get a boost to keep running (outside of a famous tv/film star), you need one of those things I listed.
And it may come as a hard bit of opinion, but I do not think Ms. Ziemba (even with "Tony winner" with her name) is a box office draw, a buzz-worthy enough casting, or a Broadway legend.
Perhaps a couple on the list you replied to could be argued not to be one of those 3 things either. |
