| Wow, I didn't know that! I think Annie would have been a much better fit for Kimberly. I'm in the (very?) small majority who didn't love Victoria Clark's performance because, although she has such a gorgeous voice, but her rounded, legit sound kept ripping me out of the fantasy that this is a teenage girl. I would have preferred someone with Annie's sound for this score, which is brighter and more forward and would match the physical juxtaposition better. |
