| The original production end with The Speech PROPOSITION, which the CD has and the new king Arthur does splendidly, the last line urging Jenny to be careful, is not in in the original play' I don't know what show it was on ?Bell telephone Hour)But you can see and Hear Richard Burton giving the magnificent speech in his magnificent voice, Nothing else was needed(IMO). I'm glad the Sword is still In. In the Original there's no flippant 9999 . jenny sings SLOWLY AND TENDERLY a reprise of the title song. If you look AT the scenes broadcast on Ed Sullivan. add in the ist 2 songs, you can see why I think CAMELOT has a perfect 1st scene |
