| That is exactly what I said about the revival of "Flower Drum Song." With an entirely new plot and characters, it'd be just as accurate to call it "Cats." But this one seems even further from Pal Joey because of all of the interpolated songs and also, if the headline woman is playing a role other than Vera, we seem to have strayed very far indeed. |
